Hmmm, so I recently bought a helmet for autoX and such and I have a slight problem. My head doesn't really fit in the car with the helmet on. Even with the seat all the way down, I have to slouch and cock my head to the side.

I have an event coming up this weekend, am I going to die? Are there thinner Snell approved helmets than mine? Is my head too big? I'm only 5' 10". Do I just have to accept the uncomfort while wearing the helmet?

how much taller does the helmet make you?

what car do you have? I know with Miatas some people remove the adjustable rails.

The helmet seems like an inch or two thick.

I have a Saab 9-3. The sunroof gives me the space I need, but it's off to the side a little.

I never felt like I was abnormally sized before. I'm very very average!
